About

We are a family of six – a mid 40’sdad, a mid 30’s Mom and kids who are ten, eight, four & two.  We run a three room, four star B&B on the East Coast and life is never dull.  In addition to running the B&B, Dad also teaches Science at High School thirty minutes away, is writing a Thesis to complete his M.Ed, is a Cub leader, and a Eucharistic Minister at the Catholic Church. I sit on the Board of the B&B and Provincial Tourism Industry Associations.  I am also President of the boys’ elementary school’s Parent-Teacher Group, Sunday School Teacher for the three & four year olds at the United Church and volunteer for the Cancer & Heart & Stroke Associations.  Between them, our kids are involved in Cub Scouts, Basketball, Skating, Curling, Baseball, Swimming, Piano, Voice, Dancing, and school.  The youngest has life threatning food allergies to peanuts/nuts & eggs, and is also allergic to soy, dairy and many fruits.  We have a huge extended family, and new people coming through the door daily, so there is always lots to talk about!!
